Meet Elise

My story is one marked by a search for identity and life in the things of this world – achievements, affection from others, and value-based acceptance. I am a North Dallas-native but began attending Watermark soon after college (Wreck ‘Em). It was here I heard the gospel for the first time, and came to accept that God loves me for exactly who I am. Over time and faithful community, I’ve gradually grown to trust, walk and fully surrender my life to Christ.

After a move to Denver, CO, back to Dallas, and 15 years in corporate America, I felt the tug towards ministry in early 2024. I continue to stand in complete awe that God’s allowing me to use my gifts and passion for marketing here on staff.

Outside of work, I love a great cup of coffee, spending time outside with my people, getting lost in a good book, and checking out new restaurants. More than anything, I love having the privilege of doing life with my creative, hilarious and thoughtful husband, Greg, and our two beautiful (and oh so wild!) daughters, Nora and Marin.
