During our four-step Membership process, you‘ll learn what it means to be a Member here at Watermark. Hint: It has nothing to do with being ‘in’ a physical church, but all about being The Church.
You’ll also get an overview of the equipping, serving, and connecting opportunities available to help you grow in your faith, meet other believers, and get involved.
You can review your membership status here.
The online process allows you to pursue Membership at Watermark in the event that circumstances do not allow you to attend Membership in-person.
Note that this option is only available for those living in the DFW metroplex.
Completed Discover Watermark? If so, you’re ready for our two-part Membership Class.
In this step, you'll complete the following:
To review or update your progress through this step, view your membership status.
Part of Membership at Watermark is participating in regular, gospel-centered service. We believe this reflects the biblical expectation that Christians use their gifts to serve others (Romans 12:6-8, I Peter 4:10-11).
To complete this step, do one of the following:
We’re big on community. So big that it’s our middle name. We believe authentic relationships lead to spiritual transformation.
In community we are known, loved, cared for, pursued, encouraged, and challenged to be more like Jesus. We’re here to help you find that.
You can always view your progress in the Membership process by visiting your Membership Status page.
Over the years we’ve been asked, “If I do not live locally/near a Watermark campus can I still become a Member?” Because we are passionate about the local church, we believe that you will be best shepherded by the leadership of a local church where you can be ‘all in’ by serving, actively participating in community, and gathering weekly to corporately worship in an area near you.
If you need assistance getting connected to a local church body close to your home, please contact us for assistance.
The fourth and last step in Watermark’s Membership process is joining a community group. We ask that those participating in a Watermark community group are Members.
Because of the leadership structure at Watermark, we believe this is the best way to shepherd our local church body.
Yes! Watermark currently partners with multiple ministries local to Dallas and across the globe. For more information in regard to serving outside of Watermark, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
After you have completed Membership Class Part I, you will be assigned a host who will listen to your story of grace. The host will then reach out to you to schedule the meeting.
If you have not yet heard from your host and have completed Membership Class Part I, please contact the Believe Team.
For those pursuing Membership online, we ask that you attend a Membership Discussion in order for Membership Class Part II to show as “Complete.”
You can sign up for a Membership Discussion in the Events section of the Membership page.
The Membership Discussion is a facilitated conversation where you will be able to meet others who are pursuing Membership and discuss the Membership class videos. Separately, when you share your verbal testimony, you will be sharing how God has worked in your life through the gospel.
