Our marriage is not perfect, but God has been faithful to lead us to where we are today and will continue to do so in the future. We are where we are today because of his faithfulness. Stay in your marriage, fight for your marriage, and start by submitting to God and His authority in your life. Let God do the work to heal your marriage, you do the work to take one daily step of faithfulness.
Remember what 1 Corinthians 9, Galatians 5, and Hebrews 12tell us: we aren’t home yet, and God calls us to persevere and finish the race well. As you go through this process, cling to the Spirit, not to your pride, and draw the circle around yourself. 1 Corinthians 7:28 says “But those who marry will face many troubles in this life”. Spoiler alert - in marriage: there will be trouble. How we respond in our marriages reflects where our hearts are. What reflection are you seeing from your heart?
