In the years since our experience in Re|engage, we’ve faced circumstances far more difficult than those we faced during the worst part of our marital struggles. We’ve navigated a special needs journey with one of our children, my mom’s Alzheimer’s diagnosis and deterioration, and the death of Matthew’s dad. And yet, paradoxically, these have been the best years of our lives. We’ve been able to walk through them with true peace and joy because our footing is different now - we’re with the Lord and with each other.
