I grew up in the heartland of America, in the most spectacular suburbia to ever grace the South – Mansfield, Texas. After quitting a thriving career of being terribly bad at sports throughout my childhood, I began to pursue academics with all of my heart, eventually earning attendance at the most prestigious school in the nation – Baylor University. While I intended to use my Political Science and History degree to set me up for success in law school, the Lord had different plans for my life. Though I had professed Christ since the ripe age of 7, I truly came to know the Lord as a sophomore in college after tasting and seeing the effects of my sin during my freshman year.
My relationship with the Lord changed everything about my life. I dropped my plans for law school and applied for Watermark’s Institute for 2019-2020. During the Institute, I served with the College Team, helped launch the Nine, and was hired on to serve in the same capacity after the Residency ended.
