Meet Camryn

Originally from Cave Creek Arizona, I spent a lot of time soaking up the sun and Jesus. My parents raised me and my four brothers in Christian home and they played a major role in helping me lay a foundation of faith in my life. In elementary school, during a typical Sunday morning class I accepted Jesus to be my Lord and savior and shared with my family about decision. I was baptized a few years later as a public declaration of my faith and began to learn how to abide in Christ. I was involved in our church’s youth ministry throughout middle and high school and was always plugged into a core group that was lead by women who I still look to today as strong encouragements in my faith.

I attended Texas Tech University (Wreck ‘Em!) and absolutely loved living in Lubbock! I promise there is more out there than just wide-open spaces, but truthfully that space gave me so much room to truly get to know God and how much He loves me. My years in college were full of incredible highs and deep lows and I am so thankful for the foundation that I had built with God to make Him my cornerstone.

After graduating, I was connected to a young adults community group in Lubbock where I spread my roots deep in community and accountability with other believers. Those women will always have a special place in my heart for that season and I see how God is still using that season to provide for me today in my current role at Watermark.

I began attending Watermark in July of 2022 after I had moved to Dallas to be closer to my then boyfriend and quickly jumped in feet first. Over the last year, I have been depending on the Lord like never before to guide me to the best fit career-wise and was so thankful to Him for guiding me to the Community Formation role, something that I have always been so passionate about.

I will be getting married soon to my best friend Garrett and we are so excited to embark on this new season together with God as the center! We love all things sports, good food and intentional time with our favorite people.
