Meet Jackson

I was raised in Grand Prairie, Texas, in a Christian home where I knew all the right answers—but if I’m honest, I thought I had it all figured out by high school. My identity was wrapped up in basketball, and I looked to performance and success to give me purpose. But God, in His kindness, used a friend’s invitation to The Porch to radically shift the trajectory of my life.

Around that same time, I got connected to the college ministry at Watermark—and it was there that I met my now wife, Olivia. God used both The Porch and the people in that ministry to show me that following Jesus wasn’t about having it all together—it was about surrendering to the One who already does.

That season (6 years or so) led me to pursue deeper discipleship, ultimately bringing me through the Watermark Institute as part of the Class of 2025.

Now, I get to serve on staff here at Watermark, and I couldn’t be more grateful. It’s a joy to point others to the same hope and freedom I’ve found in Jesus—and to be part of a church that’s passionate about making fully devoted followers of Christ.

Outside of ministry, I still love a good pickup game, spending time with my wife, cooking, and a competitive game night. Basically, I’m your friendly neighborhood golden retriever! I’d love to hear your story and how God’s been at work in your life—let’s grab coffee sometime!”
