I’m a local, born right here in Dallas, raised up the road in Richardson, and have the amazing privilege of leading our Finance and HR teams. These folks are passionate about serving Watermark’s staff and stewarding God’s resources for the sake of the gospel. I grew up surrounded by a caring family that laid the foundation of my faith, helping me see my need for a Savior in this broken world. I accepted Christ at nine years old yet did not fully understand at that time what it meant to deny myself and follow Him (Matthew 16:24-26).
I went to J.J. Pearce High School, where I met and started dating my wife, Ashley. I focused on advancing my athletic and academic careers, which ultimately led me to Ouachita Baptist University (Go Tigers!), and then The University of Texas at Austin (Hook’em!) for graduate school. From there, I journeyed the CPA route and joined a large public accounting firm in Dallas soon after departing the Forty Acres. The Lord graciously brought us to Watermark in 2015 through The Porch and we have since called this place our church home. Ashley and I married in 2016 and joined a Foundation Group soon after which provided our first real picture of biblical community. Over the years, despite being encouraged by this body, I continued to have seasons of idolizing performance, comfort, and material possessions. In the spring of 2023, God placed on my heart the need for change and to evaluate roles in the non-profit space. Since, He has done amazing work in my life largely through Watermark’s Re:generation ministry, and blessed me with the opportunity to be on staff starting November 2024. Praise Him for new life in Christ!
Outside of work, you will find me playing or watching some kind of sport as well as spending time with my wife and awesome boys, Bradley and Cayden. That likely includes outings around the metroplex and consuming our favorite food, pizza.
