I grew up in Grapevine, Texas, and came to know Jesus through the faithful witness of close high school friends who patiently shared Christ with me for years. Through their example and encouragement, I eventually came to understand that salvation is a free gift from God, not something I could earn on my own (Ephesians 2:8–9). That life-changing truth shaped the direction of my life and led me to Baylor University, where I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting.
After college, I pursued the CPA route and spent about ten years working in the corporate world. While that season was formative, the Lord began to place a desire on my heart to pursue work that was more relational and people focused. The opportunity to join Watermark presented a meaningful chance to use my financial skills in service of an institution dedicated to glorifying the Lord and loving others!
I’m married to my husband, Andrew, and in my free time I love geeking out over Broadway shows and Disney theme parks. Most of all, I enjoy getting to meet people and know them deeply, and I’m grateful to be part of what God is doing through the local church!
