Meet Greer

Born and raised in the Peach state, a lover of Justin Bieber and all things pink you can most likely find me watching the Parent Trap (Lindsay Lohan version, of course) with a couch-full of friends!

I was blessed to grow up in a Christian household and knew my need for a Savior at a young age, but that didn’t change the way that I lived my daily life. On a mission trip to Peru, I was asked on a scale of 1-10 how certain I was that I was going to go to heaven. Thinking my answer of “7” would suffice, I was met with conviction as I learned that to be a true follower of Christ I was called to be a “10”. This realization started a process of sanctification that led me to fall deeply in love with who Christ is and realize His call for my life.

I spent the next four years at Georgia Southern University (go Eagles!) where I desired to look different from the world, was poured into by older mentors, discipled other girls, was challenged to live missionally and became hungry to understand more of who God is through His Word. After graduating in May of 2020, I moved to Dallas to participate in the Watermark Institute as a resident. Here I was able to gain a deeper understanding of the Word, learn more about God’s character, and experience the necessity of confession and community all while getting hands on ministry experience. Now I get to use the gifts that God has so graciously given me to help make a Kingdom impact.

Daily I am encouraged by the things that never change – God’s Word, God’s character, and God’s mission!
