I’m a preacher’s kid that grew up in a small East Texas town called Union Grove and attended college at Stephen F. Austin State University to pursue a degree in communications. Although I grew up in the church, I didn’t fully surrender my life to Jesus until the summer after my freshmen year of college. It was while working for my college town church that I started feeling a call in my life to be in full time ministry. I spent my summers in college working for a Christian summer camp, and after graduation, ended up going on staff with them full-time. The Lord used that job to send me to be on staff as the Creative Director for Breakaway Ministries at Texas A&M University and during my season there, I started forming a desire to really study God’s Word on a deeper level which led me to move to Dallas to join the Watermark Institute. After my year here, I jumped on staff to serve as the Creative Director for “The Porch” and absolutely love what I get to do. Since living in Dallas, I have seen God move in many ways, but the greatest is for sure introducing me to my wife Jennah. We love our church and can’t wait to see what God has for us and the people of Dallas in the future.
