Meet Grant

Born and raised in Plano, I grew up with a love for competition. This love grew into something destructive when my identity became wrapped up in my performance. God graciously drew me to Himself through a series of hardships and heartaches while in college, at the end of which I saw my depravity and desperate need to be forgiven and made new through faith in Jesus Christ.

Early on in my Christian life God gave me a desire to serve the body of Christ. The path to do so, however, wasn’t clear. After spending 2 years pursuing golf professionally, and 5 years in facilities management, God opened the door for me to do The Institute in a way I simply couldn’t say no to. I now get the awesome privilege of using what God has gifted me with to serve the body and staff on the Facilities Team.

I have an amazing bride, Marni, and we have two boys. In my free time I enjoy reading, playing golf, gardening, and fishing.
