My name is Beau Fournet. I grew up in South Louisiana, where I met my bride, Natalie. We attended LSU together and married the week after graduation in 1996. We later moved to Boston for graduate school before settling in Dallas in 1999. Soon after moving to Dallas, God revealed His story of grace to me, and my life was changed forever.
The gospel in my life changed so many things. Our marriage struggled, largely because of my self-centeredness, but through the Spirit, everything changed. I also transitioned from pursuing a career in order to gain wealth and power to viewing my career as one of many ways to know and serve my King. I am humbled to say my life has become sweeter with each passing year since 1999.
We have been blessed with six children, including three adoptions, both domestic and international. We also had the privilege of being foster parents for a short season. With six young children, our house tends to be loud, vibrant and busy.
We love family vacations, always looking for a reason to get away together. Be it homeschooling field trips, Boy Scout trips, football game road trips, or jumping in the water at the beach or the lake, we are grateful to make these memories as a family.
I spend much of my weekdays in the investment management business. When not at the office, church, or on a family vacation, I love to cook, date my wife, watch college football, and spend time with families or small groups of men.
The two statements I am most known for are “I am living the dream” and “God is sovereign.”
