I grew up in Frisco, TX and I was raised by parents who were rooted in Christ and very involved in their church. My walk with Christ began at the young age of 7 when I proclaimed that Jesus was my savior. My two older sisters were witnesses for me, showing me what it meant to give your life to Christ and accept Him as Lord, which, in turn, led me to give my own life to Christ. Since then, the Lord has been constantly sharpening and humbling me through battles of doubt and insecurity, but He never stops reminding me of His steadfastness, faithfulness, and the surety of the Gospel.
I went to Texas A&M University for my undergrad and graduated with a degree in Community Health. I worked as a medical Assistant and was pursuing becoming a Physician Assistant, but the Lord redirected me from healthcare. The joy I felt thinking about working for the church I love, ultimately serving Christ through His body, was incomparable. I knew that working in ministry in some way would be a major blessing in my life. I was encouraged by my community and felt led to apply for a position, and, by God’s grace, I was invited to be on the team as the Finance and HR Assistant. Being brought on staff here is simply only a testament of the Lord’s goodness and His control over my life. Some things I enjoy include pickleball, volleyball, anything active, puzzles, board games and anything that involves community or family (especially my 2 nephews).
