The Nest

With discussions on biblical motherhood and child discipline to practical teaching on spiritual health and maintaining a healthy marriage, The Nest is a place where mothers with kids at all stages can build relationships and get equipped for the job of parenting. The Nest gathers once a month (during the school year) for a time of connecting and learning with other moms.

This October Nest, we're going to focus on frequently asked questions with a breakout style event. You'll get to pick two breakouts to attend!

October Nest Breakouts:
* Breaking Through The Hustle of Motherhood: Does your faith feel like it's stalling out? Is Veggie Tales turning into your time with God? Join us as we discuss how God wants to meet us right where we are, to experience Him and grow in our spiritual walk, even in the throes of motherhood.
* Marriage for Working Parents: Do you need HELP prioritizing your marriage through a busy work and home calendar? Come discuss how to seek God's best for your marriage by connecting the heart behind your home and work habits to the truth in God's Word.
* Nurturing ‘Hard’ Kids: Do you feel overwhelmed with your “hard” kid? Come join us as we talk about practical ways to nurture and train these kids as well as how to nurture your own heart amidst the challenge.
* Navigating Infertility and Miscarriage: Are you longing to grow your family, but finding it harder than you anticipated? Is it difficult to do or say "right thing" around friends that are hurting? Come hear personal testimony from someone who has found God trustworthy in the trenches, and get equipped to love those in your life who are grieving.
* Making School Decisions: Do you find yourself paralyzed by choosing the "right" school for your child? You're not alone! Hear from a panel of seasoned moms who have walked that road and come out the other side (mostly) unscathed and passionate to encourage you. Bring your questions!
