  1. Throughout culture there are so many different definitions to what it means to be blessed. What are some ways you can think of that people use the word blessed?

  2. What does it truly mean to be blessed? *(One definition: To be blessed by God is to be loved by him and to live a life of eternal joy, full of everything you will ever need.)

  3. As a middle schooler there are a lot of things that are trying to tell you who you are. What are some areas in your life that try to define you?

  4. Where does your identity come from?

  5. Read Ephesians 1:3 What does this verse tell us about who we are?

  6. What does this verse mean when it says every spiritual blessing? List some spiritual blessing. *(Not material blessing but eternal, the best example is new life in Christ)

  7. How does it feel to know that if you are in Christ you have a new identity? You are no longer dead (Ephesians 2:1) but blessed *(Ephesians 1:3)

  8. What is the best way this truth can impact our daily life this week?


About 'Who Do You Think You Are?'

Do you know who you are? The world tells us we should be identified by how we look, what we have, or what we do, however, the only one who can tell us who we are is the God who made us. This series we will examine the words Paul used to describe our identity in Christ (Ephesian 1:3-6). We are going to be learning about who we are and what we are meant for!
