Serving Our City to the Glory of God
The way we love and serve our city is ultimately an outworking and reflection of our love for God. Our freedom in Christ liberates us to serve and love others from a place of radical humility and love, by the power of His Spirit (Galatians 5:13). Find ways to connect your desire to serve with needs all over our city. Join us as we seek to serve our city to the glory of God.
Many of our partners are navigating uncommon circumstances due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Below is a list of opportunities that will come and go as different needs arise throughout the coming months.
For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” (Galatians 5:13-14)
Serve with Financial Catalyst

Financial Catalyst is a program designed to encourage and support under-resourced individuals. Partner with committed to overcoming their financial challenges. Serve as an ally, host, or sign up to help provide a meal!

Monday Pantry Restocking

Partner: Brother Bill's Helping Hand
Serve with our partner Brother Bill's Helping Hand, and help get the grocery store ready for the week to serve the residents of West Dallas. Restock the gorcery store shelves, bag produce and help break down pallets.

Serve at a "Drive-Through" Grocery Store

Partner: Brother Bill's Helping Hand
Serve as a grocery store volunteer any Wednesday or Thursday for Brother Bill's Helping Hand in their food pantry. Help pack up and distribute food to their neighbors. Neighbors will remain in vehicles for their safety and yours. Volunteers will help carry groceries out to the cars.

Mentor Students in West or South Dallas

Jesus practiced the mentoring model with his disciples and they, in turn, replicated it. Join us as we empower and raise up the next generation of students in West Dallas.

Write Letters of Encouragement to the Incarcerated

Partner: Sanders Estes Correctional Center
Write encouraging letters to incarcerated men during this isolating season. Must be a member to serve.
Reclaimed
Impact Area: Anti-Sex Trafficking/Reclaimed
Our anti-sex trafficking ministry, Reclaimed, is collaborating with the Dallas Police Department to provide supplies and clothing to provide to women at time of arrest. The clothing will be offered as an option for women to get out of their street clothes for a moment as an effort to help restore dignity and humanity to the women.
Coach Soccer, Baseball, or Football in West Dallas

Partner: Mercy Street
The goal of Mercy Street Sports Leagues is to provide a safe environment where youth are taught the game of soccer or baseball, as well as character, leadership, and the hope of the Gospel. Your role as a coach would be to teach the fundamentals of the sport while using it as a tool to share the Gospel, teach various life skills, and instill Christian values.
Donate Gifts to Encourage Healthcare Workers
Impact Area: Watermark Health
As the pandemic continues, fatigue and the burden of caring for others has set in for many healthcare workers. The Watermark Health team has relationships with hundreds of healthcare workers throughout our city on the frontlines. As we continue to resource them with tools to stay emotionally and mentally healthy during this difficult time, we’d also love to remind them that this church supports them and is grateful for them. You can help provide for gift bags that will be given to frontline workers.
Write Letters to Healthcare Workers

Help us encourage healthcare workers through handwritten words of gratitude and thankfulness. Remind those in the healthcare industry of God’s truth and encourage them for while they sacrifice during this time.
Sorting and Packing International Aid

Help sort or pack supplies with Buckner International to help assist families in need in six different countries around the world.
