Celeste Pinkerton

Meet Celeste

I grew up in Beebe, Arkansas (Woo Pig) in a Christian home but did not want anything to do with Jesus, believing that I knew best and that life would be more fulfilling if I sought after all that the world had to offer. At 18, after years of trying to be my own god, the Lord softened my heart to the truth of the Gospel, and I believed that Jesus was the only one who could truly satisfy. I began to be discipled in college at Ouachita Baptist University which deepened my love for Jesus and his Word.

After college, I moved to Dallas and began my career in social work and became a member here at Watermark. After receiving my master’s in social work and working in the field for several years, the Lord led me to apply to the Institute where I grew even deeper in my love for Christ and his Church. After serving at the Porch for a couple years and finishing the Watermark Institute, I am honored to be able to serve young adult women here at Watermark on the Porch team!

In my free time I love traveling, trying new coffee shops, and laughing with friends!
