Meet Meredith

I was born and raised in Southlake, Texas with my loving parents and three older siblings. Growing up, my family and I were very active in our church, however, as I got into middle school, I began to develop two different versions of myself. I began to live one way during Sunday services and Wednesday youth group and a very different way with my friends. Once Covid hit in my sophomore year of high school, the Lord in His kindness, used that time to begin truly captivating my heart for God the Father and God the Son. During this season, I felt the Lord clarifying my calling into the ministry and soon thereafter, I began my Biblical Studies degree at Dallas Baptist University (Go Pats!) and had my life transformed by my time in school.
In my first semester, I walked through a medical emergency that while it should have been terrifying, I was overwhelmed with a peace like never before and I finally came into a relationship with not just God the Father and God the Son, but God the Holy Spirit! Since this experience, I have been struck by my love for Christ, the nations, and service.
After bouncing around churches for a bit in college, the Lord kept bringing me back to Watermark and I ended up completing the membership process in 2024. He has been abundantly kind in the ways that He has blessed me through various things Watermark offers such as my community group and ministries like Regen and the Porch.
I graduated from DBU in December of 2025 and walked onto Watermark staff shortly after! When I am not working you can find me at a DBU Baseball game, the pickleball courts, volunteering at Taste Community Restaurant, or attending a Core Power Yoga class. If you are looking for me on a Sunday afternoon however, there is good chance I will be enjoying the best chips and salsa in Dallas at Mi Cocina. The joy of the Lord is truly my strength and I pray that in everything I do, that joy radiates through me!
I am so blessed and grateful for the opportunity to serve and love the church in the way that I get to!
