I grew up in Mansfield, TX in a Chris6an home. I was an only child for the first ten years of my life
un6l the Lord blessed me with my li@le brother, Paxton, whom I love so dearly. Growing up,
through my parents, grandparents, and Sunday school at church, I learned how God sent Jesus,
His only Son, to die for me and save me from my sins. This truth captured my heart at an early
age, so one night in second grade, I told my parents I was ready to give my life to Christ. At that
point in my life, I wholeheartedly believed in who Jesus is and what he did for me on the cross,
but there was a lack of understanding what it truly looks like to live my life for Christ. It wasn’t
un6l high school and college that I truly began to grow in how I lived for Christ.
I a@ended the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) and graduated in 2024 with a degree in
computer science. In college, my main ambi6on was to grow in my faith and how I shared Christ
with others. I immediately got involved with a campus ministry and plugged into the college
ministry at a church near the campus. Through these two ministries, the Lord pushed me outside
my comfort zone in the best ways—helping me grow in dependence on Him, deepen my
understanding of Him, and gain confidence in sharing the gospel.
When my wonderful husband, Seth, and I got married in the spring of 2025, we were looking for
a church where we could find deep authen6c community with people around our age and in a
similar life stage. We ul6mately landed on Watermark and immediately got plugged into serving
with Watermark Kids and joining a Founda6on Group. At this point, I was working a remote tech
support job but was looking to switch to an in-person role. When I came across this job pos6ng
on Watermark’s website, I was excited at the opportunity to not only work in-person but also to
use the skills and abili6es God has given me to serve the ministries and staff here at Watermark.
This job is such a blessing and giZ from the Lord, and I am so grateful to be on the IT team at
Watermark! When I’m not behind a computer, you can find me going on walks or hikes with my
husband, croche6ng or reading at home, and hanging out with my friends and family.
