Meet Emma

I am Oklahoma born and bred! I grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma; I am the second of five kids, and we are all overly competitive and love to laugh. My parents raised us to know Christ as our Savior at a very young age and modeled well what it looks like to live life with Jesus as the center.

In high school and into college, I lived a performance-driven life where control and perfectionism showed up in sports, grades, appearance, and comparison. But God was gracious, placing people in my path to help speak truth into my life, and He used that season to grow a relationship with Him where I am now fully dependent on Him instead of on myself. Isaiah 43:1 has become one of my favorite reminders: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.”

After earning my master’s in Dietetics from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner!), I moved to Dallas and became a member at Watermark. I worked as a dietitian for a few years before joining Watermark’s Staff! It is a joy getting to work alongside a team whose mission is to live out and walk in the gospel daily! If I am not on a run, you can also find me playing pickleball (or really any sport), walking my yellow lab, or getting ice cream with friends!
