Magic Pill or Majestic Pursuit

What drives you toward oneness with the Lord? Is Christ a "magic pill" that leads you to a lifetime of happiness or do you more appropriately desire a lifetime of contentment through Him?  Scott Coy emphasizes the importance of living for His good plans, not our own happiness by accepting the responsibility we have to break the chains of bondage that ultimately keep us from an authentic relationship with our Father.
