The bible often uses leprosy, a skin disease, to teach us about our sin disease. The story of a leper in Matthew 8:1-4 illuminates the truth that we are shameful, incurable, and disqualified sinners. If we can get past the crowds and comes to Jesus, we will find love, healing, and public restoration.
