Community Group Retreats

Community Group retreats are a great opportunity to step away from your normal rhythms and grow in deeper community with one another and with the Lord.

Whether it’s a weekend away or a simple overnight stay, retreats create space for meaningful conversations, rest, and spiritual growth. Many groups use this time to reflect on what God is doing in their lives, strengthen relationships, and refocus on their purpose together.

Watermark is continuing to explore opportunities and resources to support groups in planning meaningful retreats. While we no longer host retreats at Pine Cove Bluffs, we’re excited about helping groups find new ways to create intentional time together.

Planning Your Retreat

As you consider planning a retreat, here are a few helpful steps:

  • Pray together about the purpose and timing of your retreat
  • Choose a location that fits your group’s size, budget, and goals
  • Set expectations for your time—whether that’s rest, teaching, discussion, or a mix
  • Plan intentionally for both structured time and unstructured connection
