Church at Home Sunday

A time to gather, reflect, and look ahead with your church community

On Sunday, December 28, we won’t gather at the Dallas Campus for our usual services—but church is still on. Church at Home Sunday is your chance to slow down, gather your people, and start the new year prayerfully. As we draw closer to December 28, a guided video from TA will be provided on this page. In this video, there will be opportunities for you and your community to experience God together, practice spiritual disciplines, and pray about what’s next.

We’re expectant for all God has ahead in 2026! Let’s finish the year thankful, open-handed, and ready for what’s next.

How to Prepare

Here’s how to prepare for Church at Home Sunday:

  1. Reach out to your community group or others to plan a location and time to meet on Sunday, December 28. Ideally, the location would be conducive to the group viewing of the video message that Watermark will provide. We encourage you (and your family or roommates) to invite at least one other person to fellowship with you to strengthen the sense of community at Watermark (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). 2.As you prepare for the day, consider sharing a meal. (Acts 2:42). You could coordinate a potluck brunch, order takeout, or use your gift of hospitality to prepare a home-cooked meal.
  2. Ahead of your time together, answer the reflection questions below.
  3. Finally, pray for your time together—that God would strengthen our church by strengthening our members’ connections to one another (Romans 12:4-5).

Reflection Questions

Before you watch the message, take a few minutes to go through the questions below. The goal isn’t to grade yourself—it’s to pause, reflect, and prepare your heart for what God might want to show you as you head into 2026.

During Church at Home Sunday, TA will guide you through moments to share and discuss your answers with the people you’re gathering with. Be ready to listen, share honestly, and encourage one another.
