A little bit about me: I put my trust in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at age 7 watching a “shooting star” (still unsure to this day what it was) cross the sky my first year at summer camp. After years of a Judges period, the Lord tenderly brought me back into His arms when I was 16. I had enough of my all-encompassing people-pleasing, control, and pride, and decided to run full force after redemption, forgiveness, and humility in Christ alone. I attended Baylor University (go Bears!), where I majored in Religion, spent every waking moment serving in my Waco church home, and met and fell in love with my husband, Grant. The Lord used these years to show me how to love His Word, church, people, and mission; I knew I had to do this full-time ministry thing after I graduated. Watermark has been a gift of hope, redemption, and endless sanctification since I got here in 2020. I am a recent Dallas Theological Seminary graduate, love anything sour in the form of a gummy candy, and drink coffee more than water.
