Meet Michael
I was born in Austin, Texas, and soon after moved to Dallas. Growing up, I attended church regularly, but I didn’t truly understand the Gospel. To me, church seemed like a social club for “good people.” I searched for identity in athletics, then in relationships during high school, but by the time I reached college, I felt aimless and discouraged.
In 2010, I came to the end of myself and attended a recovery ministry at Watermark Community Church. There, I came face-to-face with my brokenness and realized my need for a Savior. I experienced God’s love and His desire to restore me.
In 2013, I married my wonderful wife, Tara, and today we have three awesome kids: Jack, Will, and Emily. In my free time you will find me running all over Dallas, coaching my kids sports teams.
