Meet Anna

I’m a Missouri girl! I was born in St. Louis and raised in Springfield. I grew up knowing about God and could tell you Bible stories, but I did not have a personal relationship with the Lord. All the faith I had was in myself and my works, which inevitably fell short. When I was in middle school, I heard and understood the Gospel for the first time. I put my faith in Christ alone and believed that I was saved by grace through faith in Jesus and not of my own doing (Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6).

I attended the University of Arkansas. During my time in college, and summers working at Kanakuk Kamps, I was blessed to have many people walk with me and model what it looks like to have a personal relationship with the Lord. After college, I attended the Kanakuk Institute where I spent 8 months diving into God’s word, learning to articulate what I believe, and developing my passion for ministry.

I am humbled and overjoyed at the opportunity to serve my church on the Preschool Team! I learn daily what a childlike faith looks like from the youngest in our congregation (Matthew 8:3-5)!

In my free time you can find me going for walks, reading, or trying out new restaurants with friends.
