Meet Michael (Zig)

I grew up in the great state of Arkansas (pig soooie!). I was raised in a Christian family and became a believer at a young age after hearing the good news of the Gospel. Even though I grew up going to church, my faith was more about performance and knowing the right things to say than relying on the finished work of the cross.

I spent most of my 20s trying to manage and figure life out on my own. It took hitting rock bottom for God to get my attention. The Lord used that painful season to work in my life through faithful believers at Watermark, who taught me what it looked like to follow Christ authentically.

As the Men's Director of re:generation, I have the privilege of teaching, equipping, and caring for men seeking help, hope, and freedom in Christ.

You can often find me exploring new taco spots throughout DFW, drinking coffee, or planning my next outdoor adventure.
