Meet Brittnee

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Dallas. As a kid, I was obsessed with country music and dreamed of fame and fortune. As I performed around the state through my teen years and college, I was constantly seeking the approval and praise of people. I called myself a Christian but had no real relationship with Jesus. I did not understand the true meaning of the gospel.

I attended the University of North Texas before becoming an elementary school teacher and, eventually, an instructional coach in Garland ISD.

In 2016, I was invited to The Porch where I entered nervously, wondering if I would be accepted despite the poor choices I had made in my past. That night, I left with tear-stained cheeks, completely changed. I truly heard and understood the gospel for the first time and began running to Jesus!

I married my husband Justin in 2018, and our son Holden was born in 2019. In early 2022, I felt a tug from the Lord to join the Preschool team here at Watermark, and I am so incredibly excited that this is the path the Lord has chosen for me!

In my free time, I like spending time outside with my family, listening to music, and hiking.
