As one historian wisely noted, when we don't learn the lessons history teaches us, we'll have to figure them out again the hard way. The psalmist Asaph knew this centuries ago when he composed Psalm 78. This text serves as an excellent reminder of God's faithful love and an exhortation to learn from the pain others experienced when they wandered away from their Father.
