What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you think of fear?
How is fearing God different than fearing other things?
Can you think of a time where fear distracted you from something good?
What does it mean to you for God to be your light and your stronghold?
Is there something you’re fearful of right now? How can that be an opportunity to trust God?
How do the Holy Spirit, the Bible, and Community help us when it comes to fear?
The book of Psalms provides an honest look at what it’s like to have a relationship with God. Each chapter encourages us to be real about the challenges we face in life and the promises that should guide us every day. This summer we will be studying specific chapters in the book of Psalms that teach us how to look to God in any circumstance.
