  1. What about Christmas most excites you? Why?

  2. This weekend, we talked about the whole story leading up to Jesus' birth. What do you think it would've been like to have waited so long for the Messiah?

  3. We read of the constant failures and shortcomings of God's people throughout the OT. Have you ever felt discouragement from feeling like you don't measure up to God's perfect standard?

  4. Based on your answer to the previous question, why was the birth of Christ such a significant event in history?
    (It was God coming in human flesh to accomplish what we could not. The OT story proves our inability to be reconciled to God on our own.)

  5. Read 1 Timothy 1:15-16. For what purpose did Christ come into the world? What difference does that make in your life today?
