Combating the Counterfeit Church

The Island of Crete, much like today, was flooded with counterfeit churches. From the culture around them and so called Christians within them, the church was becoming weak and ineffective. In his letter to Titus, Paul unpacks the foundations of a healthy church. A healthy church has godly leadership, sound doctrine, with grace transforming gospel centered living. If we are to continue to be a healthy church, then each member must rely on God’s provision to live out our purpose in order to be a part of God’s plan.
