Treasure v. Trash

A lot of times at Wake, we’ll look at a topic or situation in our lives and see what the scripture has to say about it. This month, we are looking at God’s Word and how we should live our lives because of the truth in it. This week we look at Philippians 3 and Paul calls us to have faith in Christ. He says that we are to count everything other than Christ as a loss and that compared to Jesus, everything is trash. Paul says to put our trust in the treasure of Jesus and that what we value determines what we will ultimately do and who we will decide to follow.
