An Invitation to the Table

The first reading for our new year on Join the Journey, the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew 1, is easy - and tempting - to skip over. But if we study it carefully, we can learn a lot about Him (He truly is the Son of God, for example), and a lot about our own circumstances (such as the fact that sin doesn't disqualify us from being useful to God).
