Why the Forgiven Forgive

Most of us have heard sermons on how and whom to forgive. However, when Peter asks about forgiveness, Jesus responds with a story that illustrates why we forgive. When we lose perspective on our own depravity, we often focus on the depravity of others and in the process belittle the Gospel.
