It was asked of Jesus "Which of these commands is the greatest?" He replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these." If we are to live out these commands, we should know those who live around us and we should love them well!
That seems simple enough to say, but harder to make a reality. It is difficult to connect with our neighbors. It takes time and energy and many times, humility.
