DTown is our in-town winter retreat for students in grades 6–12 hosted by Watermark Dallas and more than 120 homes around the church. The worship services and activities at DTown are designed for students to make memories, build friendships, and consider Jesus. DTown weekend will interrupt busy, stressed-out routines, and give students a chance to sit back and evaluate their relationships with God and with others. DTown is a weekend you’ll never forget!

Frequently Asked Questions for DTown 2022
Will students be staying in host homes overnight? Yes. Small Groups will spend the two nights in the home of one of the students in their Small Group. Host homes families are known, and background checked.
When does registration close? Registration closes at midnight on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 11:59 PM. But you won’t you have to worry about that because you’ll already be registered early, of course!
Is there a cell phone policy? Small Group leaders will monitor cell phone usage and access during DTown at their discretion. The goal is to allow for an undistracted time for students. If you need regular communication with your student during DTown, please let your Small Group leaders know.
Will there be a price adjustment if a student can only make it to part of the planned schedule of events for DTown? We get requests for partial payment every year and our policy has always been to keep one “ticket price” and allow kids to come and go. With hundreds of participants, it is extremely difficult to accommodate price adjustments for every unique scenario. Students who wish to participate in any part of DTown are required to register as if you were participating in the entire weekend. We understand there are unavoidable conflicts and students are allowed to come and go as long as they communicate and coordinate their schedule with the adult leader(s) in charge of their Small Group.
What if our family can’t afford the registration price? If finances are an issue, we will work with families to pay over time. We also encourage them to share the need with their Small Group, Community Group, or extended family.
What if I still have questions? Hannah Spence coordinates all events for Watermark Students. If you have a question, she’ll be happy to help! Reach out to her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
