Join us for a one night training on navigating life in community! Hear from various speakers who have and continue to live life faithfully in community through authentic relationships that lead to spiritual transformation.
3 classes will run simultaneously this evening. Grab your community group and attend one class together or divide and conquer the content in each of the classes offered. You will be asked to designate the class you will attend in registration.
#### Classes offered include:
* **Getting Traction in Your Community:** - We are often looking for ways to take ground within community. Areas such as commitment issues, group members who don’t want to live out the core values, marriage relationships that can’t seem to take any ground, general apathy or luke-warmness, constant drama, and a lack of relational depth can weigh down a group over a long period of time. Through this class, we'll breakdown the next faithful step within these and other pain-points community groups can get stuck in.
* **Shepherding Your Kids in Community** - Dealing with parenting issues in community is hard because so much of our identity, unfortunately, gets tied to our kid's performance. Talking openly about our parenting hardships, giving biblical counsel about parenting, and addressing what we see with other's kids can be a recipe for friction and conflict. In this class, learn how community groups can successfully navigate shepherding kids together.
* **Cultivating Fun in Your Community** - Most groups could use a little more Ecclesiastes 3:4, "a time to laugh", in their life. In this class, we'll unpack different ways to make your group gathering time move toward something people look forward to and away from not something that feels like a “check-in”. Together, we'll learn how to add in elements of fun that will ultimately build deep lasting relationships as your community pursues Jesus together.
This event is open to anyone who is a member of a Watermark community group on the Plano campus. Advanced registration is required.
