Meet Amy

I grew up in Dallas, college in Tennessee, married Hugh right after college and moved to Atlanta, GA for 20 years. We have 3 adult children: Tori, Jack, and Thomas.

My faith walk had been coasting for years until God got my attention 6 years ago. We were “regular” church go-ers, and I always knew there was more out there. I heard others talk about a “relationship” with Christ, but this seemed elusive for me. I was a 70% sure I was going to heaven but did not believe I was a sinner b/c I hadn’t murdered anyone, and I didn’t lie or steal. Six years ago, we had a family crisis which brought me to my knees and to the steps of Watermark at the invitation of our college-age son Jack.

For the next 6 years God transformed my life through all the ministries at Watermark (Prodigal, Re-gen, Someone Cares, Equipped Disciple and Women’s Bible study). Today I walk in freedom from my past abortion, and I trust God with my future. I still struggle with controlling other people (ask my spouse), but I have peace knowing God is still sharpening me.

My heart for ministry is to be able to give back to others what I did not have for 5 decades- to know who Christ is and to trust Him with my life.

On staff I enjoy hearing others’ stories of grace and how God has done and can do amazing things in their lives. I have to pinch myself when I realize I get to do this every day.

Nothing would please me more than to sit and talk about Jesus, my rescuer and redeemer. So, give me a call.
