What is the Back to School Bash?

The Back to School Bash is a day designed to help resource single parent families who are Watermark members or are pursuing membership as their kids head back to school! The day includes breakfast, haircuts for kids, bike repairs and backpacks filled with school supplies!

Cost is $5 per family. Families must be present at the event in order to receive supplies.

Am I eligible to receive school supplies for my kids?

Recipients of backpacks with school supplies must be single parents who are members or pursuing membership at Watermark.

Having participated in one or more of the following qualifies individuals to receive assistance with school supplies:

  • First Step Class
  • Membership Class (one or both classes)
  • A Watermark community group
  • An area of service at Watermark

Please note: there are no eligibility requirements for attending the Back to School Bash on Saturday, August 13th! We’d love for you to join us for the day’s activities as well as to hear more about our Single Parent Family ministry at Watermark. If you plan on attending without receiving school supplies, please RSVP to spf@watermark.org.

How do I register?

Click here to register between July 10th and July 29th! After you have filled out our preliminary registration survey, you will receive an email letting you know if you are eligible to receive school supplies as well as a link to fill out more information about your children’s school supplies needs (ex: school name, grade, etc.)!

How can I sponsor a child?

Once we receive your sponsor registration, we will send you an email with a school supplies list and all the information you need to shop and drop off your backpack(s) full of supplies ready to be delivered to start a child’s school year off right!
