I grew up in the small East Texas town of Henderson. From a very young age, I knew about Jesus and grew up in the Church. I came to actually know Him for myself the summer of 2005 after my dad had a near death accident on our land. I experienced God at work firsthand that summer as He answered prayers and ministered to my family through His people. My brothers and my mom displayed a kind of faith that summer that I knew was not by their own strength. That summer was life altering for our family and friends, but it was a transformational summer for my faith.
Sports and friends filled the majority of my days in high school and continued to be a vital part of my college experience at Baylor University. Being away from my hometown, it was the first time I had to choose to walk with the Lord away from the comfort of family and friends. I graduated from Baylor in 2018 with a degree in Communications and worked for Magnolia in Waco as an Event Coordinator. Later, God opened doors for me to move to Dallas and join the IF:Gathering team as the Speaker Hospitality Coordinator. In Dallas, I began attending Watermark and it has been a place of true community and healing through many of its ministries.
A few of my favorite things are running, good coffee, water skiing, and seeing when the sunlight comes through the clouds. Please reach out and let’s get coffee – I would love to know your story!
