Meet Cait

I was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma but moved to Granbury, TX at an early age and started going to boarding school at Happy Hill Farm Academy. I was introduced to “Sunday school Jesus” but didn’t understand what it truly meant to have a relationship with the Lord.  

Then I moved to Garland, TX in 2003 and started going to public school. I believed that if I did good things that meant I was a good Christian girl. I started attending the University of Texas at Dallas in 2009 and dropped out in 2012 to pursue a career as a professional executive assistant. I quickly spiraled down a rabbit hole; I found my identity and worth in my career and my achievements.

During this time, I suddenly remembered a conversation I had while I worked part-time at Torchy’s Tacos with someone on staff at Watermark. I felt convicted that my life needed to change. In 2012, I began attending Watermark and saw radical transformation in my life as I got connected. I fully grasped and understood all that Jesus did for me on the Cross and decided to make God the Lord of my life.

I officially joined Watermark in 2015, started serving in Frontlines and Starting Blocks, and jumped into having authentic relationships with other women. I still worked as a professional executive assistant for the same company and in 2021, I came on staff at Watermark as the City Engagement Assistant.

In my free time, I love traveling, going to concerts, art museums, hanging out with friends, and reading.
