I was born and raised in the great state of Indiana and was a PK (Pastors Kid) most of my childhood. Even though I was in Church from birth, I didn’t fully understand or have a relationship with God until I was 12 when I attended a youth church camp. I was shown the gospel and I knew in my heart I desired that relationship with Christ.
I have always been involved in church, but over the years my heart was drawn to young adults, and the desire to encourage and build into them.
I moved to Texas in early 2013 after graduating college. I began attending a local church, but after 2 years felt stagnant in my faith, and missed solid Godly relationships.
I heard of The Porch and attended a few services, and through the messages I heard, the Lord moved strongly in my heart that Watermark is where I should be. I began serving in Wake leading a small group of 6th grade guys and kept looking for the next faithful step. I began to find those Godly relationships that I desired, and my faith grew by leaps and bounds.
I also met my wife, Jennifer at Watermark and we have been blessed to go through ministries like Merge, which helped us prepare well for a life of marriage. We got married in 2015 and have a precious daughter Quinn, and I love them so much.
My world was turned upside down in June of 2019 when I was laid off from my job in the corporate world. The Lord was so faithful though and began to move through the situation and in my heart to open the doors and draw me to being on staff at Watermark. I had the desire to serve in a fulltime capacity in ministry, but this was a clear sign from the Lord that this was time. I’m so thankful for His leadership.
My main passion is spending time with my family and community.
I also really enjoy photography, getting out in nature, music, and using my BBQ Smoker on the weekends.
