Meet Jamie

Hey y’all, my name is Jamie Porter. I was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, blah, blah, blah, Appalachian State University for Hospitality, yada, yada, yada, Florida working in the tourism industry etc, etc, etc. Kanakuk Institute in 2019. The bottom line? I am a sinner, saved by the grace of God through his Son, Jesus Christ. I want others to know that satisfaction in life can’t be found in a spouse, money, power, or the next fun thing (what I was chasing for a bit)…it can only be found in an abiding, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you want to know more about my story, just ask, I’d love to tell you. This is still so crazy to me, but I get to serve God in the way He has uniquely gifted me by working as the assistant on Watermark’s Worship Arts team. Every day we get the incredible privilege of creatively telling the stories of how God has redeemed people through the medium of music. It’s a blast!
