Meet Ethan

I grew up in southwest Wisconsin in the land of cheese and related dairy products. While this time was sweet, it wasn’t until college that I received the sweetest gift. During my time at the University of Arkansas, in a GEOS 1123 lecture, I saw my sin and deep need for a miracle for the first time. Friendships from that classroom eventually led to my salvation and the beginning of an abundant life with Jesus.

Trusting in a pretty loose connection to Watermark, I moved to Dallas on a whim for the Institute program in 2019. God changed so many things about me during that year, but most importantly I received a biblical groundwork for a life in ministry and confirmed a love for the local church. I am married to the second greatest miracle in my life, Sydney. We met at the University of Arkansas and are 100%, fully devoted, Razorback fans. A few of my favorite things are long-distance running, teaching my old dog new tricks, and consuming copious amounts of breakfast foods.
