I was born and bred here in the suburbs of Dallas, TX. I grew up in a God-fearing family at a local church – I came to know Christ at a young age. After graduating from Texas A&M (Class of ’04), I followed my dad into the profession of software engineering. I spent just north of a decade in defense (and a short sabbatical in IT consulting) learning to build software systems and run projects – the secular training ground for the Kingdom work that I now have the joy and burden of carrying. I serve with our technology team, working alongside our ministries to dream-up, design and build capabilities to equip the body of Christ, make disciples, and scatter the truth of God’s Word as far and wide as technology allows.
My wife, Marisa, and I married in the fall of 2004. We were setup by our parents and … as they say… the rest is history. That history includes the gift of our four children. We’ve been members of Watermark since 2004. In July of 2016, God interrupted our lives with an email with the subject “Software at Watermark.” After several conversations with Watermark staff and our community, we quickly found ourselves in a position of being unable to say “no” to the good work that He has set before us. (Eph. 2:10) Pray with us that we would faithfully walk in them.
