My story starts in the weeds (and mud) of a tiny North Carolina town. As a budding country music artist, I spent my time writing and playing, eventually landing on Texas soil, where my career started to take off. An album from Nashville, a single from Australia, I was traveling city to city for the next gig and in my mind, living the dream. After graduating from Baylor, moving to Dallas and finding authentic biblical community for the first time, the dream I’d been chasing came to a halt as I realized that a life lived for me was a life wasted.
Though I’d known Christ most of my days, it was the teaching and discipleship at Watermark that God used to bring about the biggest life-change for me. I have since completed the Residency Program and begun using my gifts for the glory of someone so much greater.
