I grew up in McKinney, TX in a loving Christian home and came to know the Lord at age 7. Growing up with parents that created a Christ-centered home for us, Jesus was always a topic of conversation.
After my high school years of rebellion and realizing the idols I was making in my life, I decided I wanted to choose the Lord daily and then headed west to Lubbock.
My faith really ignited when I left for Texas Tech (Wreck ‘Em!). After attending Foundation, Tech’s Christ-centered camp for incoming students, I was encouraged by my leader to find community and live authentically. Over the next 4 years of college, while I struggled with the desires of my flesh, God shaped me into someone that loves Him deeper and values community.
In my summers of college, I worked as a counselor at TBarM Camps, where my passion for ministry came alive. The last few years of serving with students continued my desire to be in vocational ministry and love on people. I moved back to McKinney after graduation in 2018 and started attending the Porch ministry regularly. After that, I knew wanted to call Watermark home.
You can find me at a local coffee shop, eating some good Tex Mex or watching the Mavs with my family! Coming on staff as the Pastoral Care Assistant has been a joy and I am excited for the Lord to use me as I serve Him in this role.
